Internal Epoxy Coatings
Liquid epoxy linings that improve flow in gas lines and protect the bore of water pipe.
ProductAPI RP 5L2AWWA C210

Overview
Internal epoxy coatings are spray-applied to the blast-cleaned bore of the pipe. In gas transmission a thin flow coat reduces internal roughness, improving throughput and simplifying drying and commissioning; in water service, thicker linings protect the bore against corrosion.
Key characteristics
- Lower internal roughness and friction loss
- Corrosion protection of the pipe bore
- Faster drying and commissioning of gas lines
- Lining systems for water service
Applications
- Non-corrosive gas transmission lines
- Water transmission and distribution
- Industrial water piping
Used in Oil & Gas, Pipeline Infrastructure and Water & Desalination.
