3LPP Pipeline Coating
Three-layer polypropylene for higher operating temperatures and heavier mechanical demands.
ProductISO 21809-1DIN 30678

Overview
3LPP follows the same three-layer build as 3LPE but uses a polypropylene adhesive and topcoat. Polypropylene's higher softening point and hardness suit hot lines and pipelines exposed to severe handling, rocky backfill or offshore installation loads.
Key characteristics
- FBE primer with polypropylene adhesive and topcoat
- Higher temperature capability than polyethylene
- High hardness and penetration resistance
- Suited to offshore installation and rocky ground
Applications
- High-temperature oil and gas lines
- Offshore flowlines and pipelines
- Pipelines in rocky terrain
Used in Oil & Gas and Pipeline Infrastructure.
